Jesus Loves You Newspaper Issue 22: Friends

Today we will be discussing friends. So what does the Bible say about friends? Well in Proverbs 18:24 One who has unreliable friends soon come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Do you have friends who will send you in ruins or friend’s who are closer to you than a brother, and which are you a friend who leads your friend to ruin or to victories. I have had friends who try to ruin me but now I don’t hang out with those people any more.

Know you probably want to know how to tell who your real friends are. Well if they try to be mean or try to hurt you they are the bad friends. If they try to save you in troubled times then they are good friends. Some you can just tell by instinct.

I hope this helps you find better friends or find the bad friends you have.

Jesus Loves You Newspaper Issue 21: Blessed are the Peacemakers

Hello to everyone that has received this newspaper. I hope everyone is having a great summer. Jesus told his followers “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will inherit the world.” We see it too many times that only peacemakers win. Hitler had the best technology in the world during World War 2 although America had a lot more equipment and men Hitler failed to conquer the world. Why? He was not a peacemaker but more of a war-starter.

I want to leave you with a question. Are you a peacemaker? I try to be but are you. Being a peacemaker can be a leader of a country or a child inside a house. We all need to cultivate peace and plant that seed. Pray that we can be peacemakers.

Now today we will be discussing forgiveness this is a topic that I

have found

interesting over the years I have found forgiving my family and

friends has been

hard and that it won't be easy first think what has _______ been

doing that I

need to forgive him about. Then once you have found out what this

person has

been doing you need to find the best way to forgive this person now

over the

years I have done this many times for example my brother has broke

one of my

favorite movies and I had to forgive him and it was very hard and

if you haven't

had any experience with forgiveness you should forgive because it

feels a lot

better

Why You Should Not Be A Bystander

When you see something bad going on such as someone doing bad things and especially bullying someone and you do not do anything about it, you are only allowing that person to get hurt even more. Take this example into consideration.

 " You are standing in the middle of New York City and you see your friend Bob, killing innocent people with a machine gun. He comes to you and he says "I will not kill you just everybody else." What would you do?

A. "Ok Bob, I will let you kill everybody."

B. You run and tell the police.

C. Other(Please specify in the comments section)________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I would choose option B because Bob is not going to kill me.


Now take this into consideration "You are standing in the middle of New York City and you see your friend Bob, killing innocent people with a machine gun. He comes to you and he says "I will not kill you just everybody else unless you tell anyone." What would you do?

A. "Ok Bob, I will let you kill everybody."

B. You run and tell the police.

 I would still choose option B because I would give my life to save the other half of the city.
